"The Deathwish" is a song included in the first album "Simphony of Pain" (strictly with the "i") originally released in 1994 and re-arranged by the current line-up, that is the same of the Ep "Proud to be Dead" but with the new drumme David Folchitto (FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE, STORMLORD). 25 June 2019 is the celebration of 25 Years of Simphony of Pain, from here, the idea of release out an Ep called "Simphony of Dead", which also includes another piece from the first album: the frenetic "The children are Waiting"; the latter will be without video clips, but you can find it in the digital and physical versions (surprise edition 😜) of "Simphony of Dead". The songs are published by Elevate Records, recorded and mixed at Andrea Mattei's "Trick Studio" and mastered in "Finvox Studios" by Mika Jussila (Stratovarius, Lordi, Nightwish etc); the artwork was created by Gianluca Carlini of "JVA - Jahn Vision Art".
A corrosive mix of death, doom, psychedelia, and black metal, the Portland quartet’s debut full-length is a bona fide underground monolith that shapeshifts with each listen, all while maintaining its essential heaviness. Bandcamp Album of the Day Feb 1, 2019
